Jealousy in Relationship: Right or Wrong?

It's of no doubt that women loves more than men because when they love, they do so completely.


In my own inference, each person has a level of jealousy and it's more on men's side than in women due to the fact it takes a lot of time and many variables for men to really love. Probably this small space in them that's not permeated by love is what jealousy takes advantage of.

Jealousy is such a dicy behaviour that it's only when it's evident in a partner that it can be justified to be there because there are instances when a person is jealous but when he/she is not showing it, there's no means to ascertain.

Some people argued that been jealous is a measure to check the level of love a partner has for his/her partner and some other thoughts categorized it as a killer of love because it keeps the other partner in an unsafe position.

Whichever is correct, to some extent I think jealousy also has it's amusing side " you can imagine dropping a call of an uncle and your partner was like___who're you speaking with? even when he heard all your conversations and you'll just be like___what funny question is this? at least you heard what we're saying. In such case, the partner just wanted to be sure it's actually your uncle you're speaking with.

Nevertheless it could got worsened to the extent of maltreatment, abuse, dissociation from friends, resignation from work and the likes before jealousy can be eradicated in some relationships.

In my opinion, I think jealousy is right in a relationship when it is healthy but should not get so tensed up that it affects the physical, mental, social, psychological and spiritual well being of the other partner.
