Just as I stated on my social media handles yesterday that I'm gonna be writing my position on this new pandemic called rape, though it's not new but we can say the devil has yet visited us once again to check if we're still unweaned.
I have wanted to write earlier than this but I'm just restrained in my Spirit so I was waiting on God to write His mind. Please if you have issues with the scripture, don't go further with this write up because I'll be writing purely on revelation as the only Holy Spirit impressed on mind.
The focus of this piece might not touch all aspects that deals with the topic but it does gives a different viewpoint from what others have been saying and instead of pulling anybody who has contributed his/her own view on this topic down, I'll only complement the positive standpoints.
The first that came to my mind is strongly is that "the Christian Life is embedded in Christ which implies that we're dead nevertheless we live just that it is no longer we (Christians) that lives but Jesus that lives in us and the hope of our glory. Galatians 2:20, Colossians 1:27.
To this end, clamouring for male child education to curb rape is good only if the education is holistic to let them reckon themselves as been dead. No matter what we teach, none of it can make the urge to go permanently but if we can bring them to the understanding of been dead, anytime the urge comes on them, they can easily reckon themselves to be dead and behave as if the urge doesn't exist at all.
No matter what a lady wears or how much she rapes another man of money, gifts and affection, we'll continually SAY NO TO RAPE.
I have no issues with #Justice for any rape victim but I plead with victims to please release there foes from the anguish of their hearts. So that when they received the punishment for their crime, you don't continually punish them with your unforgiveness.
Remember when the whole world is yet a sinner, Jesus Christ died for us so that we can be reconciled back to him in heaven, Romans 5:8. Don't hold grudges with your adversary on earth and loose wonderful packages God has for you when you forgive such person.
Knowing full well that, we're of Christ and by this shall all men know we are his children when we show love of God shown to us by Jesus Christ who seek for forgiveness on behalf of those who nailed him on the cross, John 13:35.
If Christ can love his murderers, how much you? If he can do it, you can do it. Forgive someone who hurt you so much today and see the wonderful marvelous life that follows.
