so when you live outside the bond of prayer and parade yourself with the sufficiency of the word, you will find out that when you teach or preach what is supposed to be beneficial to your hearers, it will not benefit them because your altar of prayer is too cold to alter the barrier of the mind of the people.
If prayer wasn’t important or an option, Jesus wouldn’t have started His ministry with prayers travailing for forty days and nights because He understands that there are thousands of alterations to make ahead which only prayer can settles. James 5:16b.
The most accurate measure to evaluate men’s spirituality is prayer, it is easy to preach but it’s a sacrifice to pray. As much as the altar of prayer is emphasized in the scriptures as a mystery to alter unfavorable events and enjoy dominion; Luke 18:1, Matthew 21:13 , it is by far the most avoided altar in today’s Christianity.
One of the natural ways of establishing an altar of prayer is by praying consistently within a specified time in a specified place and a specified manner for a continuous period of time; thus attracting the Spirit dimension of prayer to come down and find expression in the physical realm.
This is why somebody can roll on the altar of the church without uttering a word and get healed because the altar over time has become a secluded place for the effulgence of God to be expressed.
